BOOKER ERVIN THE IN BETWEEN Blue Note BST 84283
Up for auction is a U.S. Blue Note (Liberty) west coast Stereo pressing (1970) of Booker Ervin's fine lp, "The In Between". An excellent example of late hard-bop, this lp doesn't stray from the formula. Great songs, well performed.
DEAD WAX INFO: Side 1 has BNST - 84283 - A etched into the dead wax. Side 2 has BNST - 84283 - B etched into the dead wax. Both sides have VAN GELDER etched into the dead wax. Left Coast (1970) Blue Note NY (Liberty) Stereo pressing. Nice listen. VINYL VISUAL: VG+ and better on this pressing with one spindle mark preventing NM rating. Labels show unplayed appearance.
VINYL PLAY GRADE: NM on this Left Coast BN Stereo press with FANTASTIC fidelity and very little noise level. Spindle mark is of no aural consequence.
COVER VISUAL: NM at best with few issues, including softened corners right front, and some staining under shrink (rear). Slight musty smell. All in all very nice.
COMES WITH OG DIE-CUT PLAIN PAPER INNER, which I have lined with an Audiophile rice plastic inner.

Play grade is done on a Thorens TD 165 through Yamaha amplification and JBL reference headphones (treble set high so there will be no surprises when you get the item).
ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED WITH PROPER MAILERS AND EXTRA PADDING, PARTICULARLY AT THE CORNERS. I HAVE MADE FAR TOO MANY PURCHASES ON EBAY WHERE THE ITEM HAS ARRIVED WITH DINGED CORNERS DUE TO INADEQUATE PACKAGING MATERIAL. BY USING FOLDED BUBBLE WRAP IN ALL FOUR CORNERS, YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF AN ITEM WITHOUT DINGED CORNERS (OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND FOR THAT MATTER). Non-tracked shipping throughout the U.S.A will be $13 CANADIAN per item, as will tracked shipping within Canada. Tracked shipping to the U.S.A. will be $16 CANADIAN for items under 500g, and slightly more for items over 500g. Most single sleeve items can be shipped as under 500g. Gatefolds and multi-sets will be over 500g.
Being a reasonable person, I will be absorbing ALL of the shipping material cost, and some of the actual postage cost.

I do offer full refunds (excluding cost to get it back to me), on any item that is not satisfactory. SINCE SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE (Thank You Canada Post), I will rarely list gatefolds or multi-items for sale overseas. IF ANYONE OUTSIDE OF NORTH AMERICA IS CRAZY INTERESTED IN ANY ITEM, I WILL QUOTE SHIPPING ON REQUEST. Since a lot of the stuff that I will be selling is of higher end quality, rarely will things be offered overseas. Sorry folks. Again, I can consider requests on an item-by-item basis.
