Description

  • This is a 1964 Booker Ervin LP record titled "The Space Book" in NM condition with both the record and original cover in good shape, including all original inserts. 
  • The 33 rpm vinyl and sleeve show minimal signs of wear consistent with near mint grading. This is a classic "misprint" or "mislabeled" pressing, and in the world of jazz collecting, these can be quite significant. 
  • The album artwork and title on the label are definitely The Space Book, but it bears the PR 7386 catalog number. Normally, The Space Book is PR 7317. 
  • The back cover features a "PREVIEW COPY" stamp in red ink. This indicates it was a promotional copy sent to radio stations or reviewers before the official retail release, which often explains why a label mismatch occurred.
