Booker T. & the MGs Green Onions mono LP Stax London label HA-K 8182 1st pressing Plum

These records are part of the estate of an avid collector of Rock and Roll, Country etc. They gave an awful lot of pleasure to him, and hopefully they will go to good homes where they will be enjoyed for many years to come. The full description of this item follows, but please do check the ‘other items’ for many more. If there is a demand, there will be many more to follow. We are not dealers, and are no experts in the grading system so I’ll just try to describe what I see, but do ask if we can help further.

This auction is for Booker T. & the M.G.s Green Onions a mono vinyl LP on the Stax London label. The label is plum. Side 1 Matrix AML-2557 -1A so I think a 1st issue.  The cover is bright and clean and has no rips or tears though there is surname written in red ballpoint on the back top left hand side, the inner is clean and tidy but discolouring with age, and the vinyl is bright and clean and I can’t see any flaws with the naked eye – in fact there is very little marking around the centre hole – so I’d guess it was very lightly played. Very lovely condition, very well looked after reflecting the love of vinyl of the previous owner. If this one doesn’t sell, I shall definitely buy if for myself – as this was the first record of my teenage years!
