Description
Here is a great release on the Mercury label (SR 90309). The Borodin String Quartet in performances of Shostakovich's String Quartet No. 4 and String Quartet No. 8. RFR-2/RFR-1 Stereo pressing.
Condition - The jacket is still in plastic and looks greatshows light wear. The jacket grades at NM. The record is shiny with light hints of use. The record grades at VG++ by sight. Side two plays about as it looks, with a little bit of static and other light noise here and there, but side one is a little noisier.
Side one has persistent light to moderate static that gets worse toward the end of the side. Side one plays more like weak VG+.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new professional grade materials.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards. I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed opened records, discs or tapes. The highest grade I give to unsealed records, discs or tapes is Near Mint. Grading here is strictly by sight.
