Description

Boston - Don't Look Back

CBS Half-Speed Mastered Extended Range Recording - HE-45050

This pure virgin vinyl disc looks unplayed, and it should, since it has been played only once (see "life" below).

The record's quality must be Mint or at least Near Mint by anyone's standard.

The gatefold cover is Very Near Mint with no visible edge wear, sharp / undamaged corners, and a very slightly worn over plastic.  Under close inspection there appears a slight bend in the lower left corner near the image of the floodlight beam.  A 1/4" wear line appears at top center near the edge.  The lyric sheet and Master Series promo tri-fold sheet are in perfect condition.  This cover and its contents have been handled very little and look new.  There are no other bends, wear marks, or smudges on the cover or liner items.

The Boring but Pamper Life of my Record Collection:

   This record is part of my collection, I am the original purchaser.  The record comes in it's orignal cover sleeve and plastic over packaging.  The inner anti-static sleeve may have been replaced, since it was my standard procedure to provide a quality sleeve for all my records.  (Since it is a Half Speed Master it most likely came with the quality sleeve, but I'm just being thorough here.)  The record has been out of the protective sleeve for playing only once.  When I purchased this record (and all my records), I recorded it onto a high quality cassette using quality audio equipment.  I recorded with no movement in the room to prevent noise (also ensuring exactly zero skips).  After recording to tape the LP was put away and never played again.  It was removed from the protective sleeve for a second time after it's approximately 25 yr slumber for a visual inspection prior to this listing.  It looks new with no smudges, scuffs, or scratches.  I can not play the record since my turntable has been but a memory for several years.  I have always handled my collection by the edges only (no fingerprints on the playing surface).  The album cover is near perfect with no record outline.  It looks like the day I bought it.  It has been stored either on a shelf standing up or in a wooden packing crate standing up (in my closet) with my other MFSL's and regular records.

  I am new to the selling of records but have done some research to speak the language here on eBay - if something is unclear please ask for more information.  I think my grading is tough and extremely thorough.  I take my feedback score very seriously and want all transactions to satisfy both parties fully.

The Album will be meticulously packed and shipped in a 12x12x1 inch box.  The album will be removed from the cover to avoid cover seam splitting.
