Description
Decca SXL 6023 (wide band not grooved - "MADE IN ENGLAND" at 10 o'clock - ED3) recording of the Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 played by Clifford Curzon with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by George Szell.
The recording is dated 1962.
This record is part of my personal collection. The cover is in good condition having some shelf wear, the odd crease and a little rear fading. The condition of the record itself is excellent, there are just a few faint surface scuffs, no scratches. The spindle hole suggests only very occasional playing. I would expect the surface noise of this record to be minimal. Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record. The original inner sleeve is also included.
I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs. I have a large number of Decca SXL WBG, EMI W&G ASD and Columbia B&S SAX LPs that I will list when I get time - some very rare. I am not a record dealer.
