Description

Brahms Piano concerto No 2 in B-flat, op. 83
Performed by Edwin Fischer with Berliner Philharmoniker, conductor Wilhelm Furtwängler.  Recorded live from concert in Philharmonie Berlin, 8/9th November 1942.
Akkord 09883/4.  1st USSR pressing from 1962, grooved export  pre-Melodiya label. Matrix numbers: 2-1/2-1. With standard Akkord cover, no original sleeve of 1ED exists. 
For cover condition please see pics.  Record looks EX, few scuffs & hairlines from storage, just an occasional spindle wear mark each side.  Plays with inherent background noise, EX/EX- for playback due to mild crackling during circa.6-8 revolutions in the beginning of Side Two.
