Budapeest String Quartet (J. Roismann, A. Schneider, I. Ipolyi,

M. Schneider) Victor Musical Masterpiece Set M-183

(4-12" Victrola scroll label discs 11545/8 in original first

U.S. edition green buckram album. Debut recording of

the 4th  lineup of the Budapest. Made in the acoustical

marvel of Berlin's Beethovensaal. Rare. In U.S. catalog only

five years (1933/8). Mint condition. Notes included.

From the private collection of R. Peter Munves, who was in the record business as well as an avid collector for over 50 years and has decided to part with his beloved collection. All albums are from the late 20’s to early 40’s, and many are original, 1st editions containing pristine pressings from the golden age of 78’s. This collection consists of a nearly complete run of RCA Victor Musical Masterpiece Albums and Columbia Masterworks Album Sets. Our listings are drawn from this extensive collection.
