DECCA STEREO SXL 2013
The LP is in EX/EX+ condition. On side one there is no surface noise apart from a very small amount towards the end of the side which is quiet. There are very few pops/ticks, almost none really apart from a few towards the end of the side. Side two is similar, some very slight surface noise here and there which is quiet, and I heard one quiet 2 rev tick, and possibly a couple more which were so quiet I wasn't 100% certain about them. The cover is in VG+/EX condition. The front cover is clean and shiny with just a few light marks/creases here and there. The back has a small amount of writing and three small tape marks, otherwise very presentable.
A magisterial performance of this great symphony by the formidable forces of the Vienna Philhamonic under the baton of Rafael Kubelik. A great record!
his LP comes from a large collection of records owned by a retired music professor that I am selling on his behalf. There are some gems in the collection which I will post for auction soon. I do no grade the records visually, I listen to them in their entirety and try to give as accurate description of the condition as I can.
