Description
Decca SXL 6062 (wide band not grooved - "MADE IN ENGLAND" at 10 o'clock - ED3) recording of the Brahms Symphony No. 4 and the Academic Festival Overture played l'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet.
The recording is dated 1963.
This record is part of my personal collection. The cover is in fair condition having some shelf wear, the odd crease and quite a bit of rear rading. The condition of the record itself is excellent - much better than the cover - there are no visible surface marks. The spindle hole suggests only very occasional playing. I would expect the surface noise of this record to be minimal. Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record. The original inner sleeve is also included.
I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs. I have a large number of Decca SXL WBG, EMI W&G ASD and Columbia B&S SAX LPs that I will list when I get time - some very rare. I am not a record dealer.
