Brahms Violin Concerto Ida Haendel UK HMV CLP 1032
On this extremely rare record, Ida Haendel with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sergiu Celibidache performs the Brahms “Violin Concerto”. An English mono pressing on the HMV Label (CLP 1032), the labels are plum with gold lettering, a large fan shaped dog, groove, and Made in Great Britain at 6 o’clock. The record is of worn appearance with scuffing and some marks and it plays and sounds superb (excellent recording) with fairly consistent crackle and occasional pop. The cover has rubbed and has wear and small tears along the edges.
