Brahms Violin Concerto Oistrakh Klemperer UK ED1 Columbia B/S Stereo SAX 2411 LP
Virtuoso Violinist David Oistrakh, Rare audiophile UK 1st pressing on the Columbia Blue and Silver Stereo label SAX 2411
Visually under very bright light the vinyl is a nice example with a bright sheen, has a number of faint feather light play traces (Visually EX-). The record has been cleaned on my Okki Nokki machine and plays bold bright, clear and crisp with great rich tone (as is to be expected from a top-quality early Columbia Stereo Recording), a lovely record. There is some light surface noise occasionally, particularly to the opening, a number of static ticks here and there, and one or two occasional clicks. The record is likely to improve with further cleaning. Overall a very enjoyable audio experience, and a nice example of a lovely record, Overall Audio: EX-
The labels are clean, some light spindle traces EX
The Laminate front sleeve has some light crease wear, and some minor damage to the top flip-back VG+
