Brahms Violin Oistrakh Aust Columbia SAXO 2411
David Oistrakh with the French National Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer performs the Brahms “Violin Concerto”. An original Australian stereo pressing on the Columbia Label (SAXO 2411), the labels are blue/green with silver radio waves and border and a note logo, and this is a pancake pressing. The record has a few small scuffs and is otherwise of very good appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with a slight ring and a small crease at the bottom on the right-hand side.
