Description
HMV CLP 1032 Ida Haendel plays Brahms violin concerto. london symphony orchestra, Sergiu Celibidache. Heavy original UK pankake pressing. Relisted because I have now an original sleeve, in EX condition!!. record VG (No big scratches, but light surface noise and marks, only giving a few light ticks each. The recorded sound is still string and bright, undistorted on my installation. sold as-is

Grading:
M: never used. I don’t use this grade unless the record is sealed
NM: No visible or audible faults
EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
G: scratches, etc. I don’t sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
Records are first graded visually. If I have doubts, I grade them on my linn lp12 / clearaudio sigma.

The new original sleeve I've found is a nice shiny fully laminated sleeve. Only very minor damage to the laminate at spine (just millimeters) Flip backs are undamaged. At the spine, the words Brahms and Haendel are undamaged. The words violin concerto are dameged, you just read 'violin conc...'. So grading is a ex+.
I listened to the record yesterday with a grado mono cartridge. Surface noise is hardly audible, but the scattered ticks remain. these are actually only a bit disturming in the slow movement, where at the start of side 2 there are more ticks than on the rest of the lp.
