Detailed Description:
This is the debut studio album by the British acid-jazz/funk outfit The Brand New Heavies, originally released in April 1990.  The record features rich live instrumentation, horns, bass-driven grooves and soulful vocals, capturing the rare-groove and acid-jazz club vibe of late-80s/early-90s London. Notable tracks include “People Get Ready”, “Stay This Way” and “Dream Come True”. The re-issued versions (1991/1992) with vocalist N’Dea Davenport helped the band break into international markets.  A strong addition for funk, soul, acid-jazz and collector vinyl buyers.
