For sale from my personal vinyl collection is Brand New's third and highly anticipated album 'The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me'. This version of the LP is the FIRST pressing which was pressed onto PURPEL vinyl, limited edition. Still a really hard album to come by! First edition was printed/issued in 2010 although the album was released in 2006. The band had some issues for years following the release of the CD due to ownership of the album art which explains the delay in a vinyl version. Not to mention a weird situation where when the album was finally released it was released in a multitude of colored vinyl through two different record labels.
Again this album is from my own personal collection and has been meticulously cared for, as you can see it has been stored in a a good poly sleeve (7mil) and the records have been stored in MFSL sleeves (mobile fidelity sound labs), which are really nice plastic dust free sleeves.
Recorded mostly in the middle of the winter '05 and spring '06 at Longview Farm and later at Cove City and Mike's House.
This is the ORIGINAL version sold on the 'Brand New' website via Academy Fight Song Records. Version of 500 on PURPLE VINLY in a Gatefold Sleeve. With black flood printing on the inside of the pockets and matte black record sleeves. Includes a 12 page, 10"x10" color booklet (seen in the pictures) which is mimicing the original CD booklet, with subtle layout differences that coincide with the band’s vinyl layout.
I have legitimately played this LP only a handful of times, and I only say 'a handful' because I really can only remember playing it twice; but I have owned it for pushing four years now so its tough to remember. But regardless this LP is in near mint, collector quality. Check out my other items as I am parting with a few pieces of rare 'Brand New' vinyl from my collection. I can combine and reduce shipping prices if the winning bidder happens to pick up a few things from me.
