Brand New, The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me [2x White Vinyl] Triple Crown Pressing, Gatefold, OOP, Out of Print

EX/VG+ (slight scratch on front cover (from a packing knife??)).  Please see photos and record grading standards below.

Please see my other listings for more records.

All records are visually graded.

I try to grade fairly and conservatively. Questions are welcome but please read these guidelines first.
I do not listen to the records I sell and I cannot answer questions about how the record plays. I try to provide additional photos when practical.

  Vinyl Grading Guidelines
SS (STILL SEALED)  Sealed at factory and never opened. Disc is assumed to be undamaged and mint, but this cannot be proven until the album is actually opened and the disc examined.
NM (NEAR MINT)  The highest grade for opened, handled records. The vinyl is virtually flawless, bright and shiny. A very minor, barely visible scuff or two may be permitted, but absolutely no scratches. The disc should play with no audible noise. The label is bright, clean and unmarked.
E (EXCELLENT) The disc may have minor paper scuffs that do not interfere with the sound quality. There can possibly be a hairline scratch or two but nothing that is obvious or might affect play. Vinyl is bright and shiny; label is clean and unmarked.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS) Some visible surface wear, very minor scratches and scuffs. Vinyl will still have good luster; labels may have minor imperfections (small labels or initials, etc.) but otherwise clean.
VG (VERY GOOD) Vinyl will have noticeable scratches or scuffs that could cause minor surface noise, but do not overpower the music. Vinyl may appear somewhat dull and grayish. Labels may have small tears, tape marks, larger writing, etc. but still easily legible. There may be wear or deformation of the spindle hole.
G (GOOD) Good isn’t very good at all.  This is an often-played, dull, grayish vinyl with deeper scratches and wear that could cause distracting surface noise (hisses, pops, cracks and other unwelcome sounds). Labels may be significantly defaced or damaged.
P (POOR) There may be major noise, surface damage, deep scratches, and skips. Attempting to listen to these discs could be painful. These discs are filler discs until a better copy comes along.

  Album/LP/10 Inch Cover Grading Guidelines
(STILL SEALED) Album is still in the factory-applied shrink-wrapping.  This does not preclude corner dings, disc ring impressions, or other flaws that might be found in a sealed record that has been shipped.  It simply means that it is still sealed.
NM (NEAR MINT) Very minor signs of wear or cover impressions. No noticeable corner dings. Artwork is as close to perfection as possible. This is a record I would buy at retail without hesitation. A cut out is never NM.
E (EXCELLENT) Minor disc impression or slight corner creases or dings, no wrinkles, puckers, seam splits or writing on the cover. Artwork is clean and unworn and there is no ink wear.
VG+ (VERY GOOD PLUS)  Cover is clean but may have minor marks and may show slight wear. There may be just the start of ring wear, where the disc has created a raised area on the cover that resulted in the ink wearing off the paper. There will be no writing on the cover but there might be a retail sales sticker or sticker residue.  There may be slight discoloration or staining, minor seam wear, but no splits or tears. Corners may have dings, small creases or fraying.  Often an otherwise EX/NM record that has been poorly shipped will fall to VG+ for corner dings.
VG (VERY GOOD) By all standards this is an unfairly broad category for record sleeves.  Covers may be worn and used. One seam may be split. There may be moderate ringwear, but the artwork is still attractive. There may be yellowing or discoloration and there may be writing, labels, or marks. Corners may have dings, bends or creases and there may be scratches or gouges that otherwise damage the artwork.  This is the best grade I will assign to a cut corner, slot corner, or punch out.  Often an otherwise EX record will fall to VG for creases, dings and bends from shipping or careless handling.
G (GOOD) Several of the following flaws will apply: Seam splits, large marker writing, major seam splits, significant ring wear, damaged corners, tears, cuts, gouges, masking or tape seam repairs, or other flaws and damage.
P (POOR) This is a serviceable cover for what is hopefully a better playing record.  One or more seams may be completely split.
