Decca 45rpm of "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree & Papa Noel" by Brenda Lee. Recorded in Nashville Tennessee in October 1958 when Brenda Lee was just 13 years old. The song went unnoticed until it took off in 1960, also charting in 1961 and 1962. 65 years later in 2023, it reached number one, topping the Billboard charts.
This one is the 1962 pressing, with the original 1st picture sleeve design. The 45 is in NM condition, great sound and super glossy. The Picture sleeve is also NM, no seam splits, no ring wear. Sleeve would grade higher except for the release date written in small faint type near the Decca name. Beautiful all around copy. A Christmas classic! (see photos).
