This Dutch-produced set of 13 stereo LPs comprising Alfred Brendel’s take on the complete 32 piano sonatas of Beethoven for Philips (6768 004) is about as close to mint as an unsealed set can get. The LPs are brilliantly glossy and mark-free and the labels have not a single spindle track around the holes. It is doubtful that any of the discs have been played. The enclosed 3-language booklet has English-language details on all the sonatas and their individual movements. The box unbroken or not corner-crushed; the hinge is strong.
