Description
Very rare "We Think So Loud" original 1988 acid house vinyl 12" from The Mercy Giants (Brett Ewins), better known for his 2000AD/Judge Dredd/Deadline artwork, this recording features him on lead vocal. B-side features "The Church of Acid" and "Dr. Microdot".
Accompanied by an original artwork lyrics booklet including contributions from Ewins and fellow Deadline artists, Steve Dillon (Judge Dredd, Preacher), Jamie Hewlett (Gorillaz, Tank Girl), Brendan McCarthy, Philip Bond, Ha Khan, Ola Wola & Shaky Kane. Featuring The Ron Merlin character, this pre-dates the launch of Deadline in October '88 and makes various references promoting it.
Owned and stored in record boxes from purchase and in Near Mint condition. I picked up when it was released in 1988 from an independant record shop called Plastic Wax in Bristol. Having followed Brett's artwork, along with Steve Dillon, during their 2000AD years, my interest really peaked that year when they launched Deadline along with Jamie Hewlett. The promotional artwork booklet in the photos was created around the same time they were working with the original team on the first issues of the magazine.
