Description
This popular UK blues band hailed from Sussex. There was no 'Brett Marvin', in fact the lead singer was John Lewis, who later in 1980 had a huge Christmas hit in the UK as Jona Lewie with 'Stop The Cavalry' and earlier in 1980 with 'You'll Always Find Me In The Kitchen At Parties'. The band had a cult following in the UK and cut five albums. This was their debut album. The style is similar to Canned Heat and features a wide range of instruments including trombone, tin cans, slide guitar, bottleneck mandolin, saxophone, harmonica, washboard, zob stick, clarinet and piano accordion. The band also had success as Terry Dactyl And The Dinosaurs with the pop hit 'Seaside Shuffle' in 1972.
The record is in excellent condition with no scuff marks or scratches. It plays very cleanly with no, or very minimal surface noise.
The cover is in good condition with minor edge wear and some creases in the corners.
