Brian Eno, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) LP, ILPS-9309-A & B
General: Since I have converted my vinyl collection to digital I have no further use for the original albums and so I am selling them. That is to say, I am not a dealer. I have always been very careful handling my records so the condition of the vinyl is generally good. For most of the time I have owned them, my albums have been stored vertically. I will play every album before listing and record extracts from a couple of tracks, the links to which you will find below. Description: Brian Eno, Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) LP, ILPS-9309-A & B Vinyl: The vinyl is extremely clean with barely a mark on it. I would rate it as Excellent. There are virtually no clicks at all and no obvious vinyl crackle. The run-out grooves are inscribed with the text "ILPS 9309 A 3U" and "ILPS 9309 B 4U" plus the word "RAYS". This copy is on the "pink rim" Island label. Outer Sleeve: The sleeve is also in VG+ condition although the shape of the vinyl disk can be seen on the back. The front shows signs of wear where it has rubbed against its neighbours in the rack. Inner Sleeve: Blue paper with a cellophane lining, undamaged. Any other comments: I have not owned this album from new but bought it 2nd-hand some time in the 1970s.At the risk of contravening copyright laws, here are two extracts recorded from Put A Straw Under Baby & The Fat Lady Of Limbourg...
