Notes?

According to the notes on the Working Backwards boxset, this is a Special Edition for boxed set and film directors only. Brian Eno is quoted on the back cover as stating: "I released the first volume of Music for Films in 1978, and it contained samples of my work, spanning the period of 1975-78. This second volume picks up where the first left off, but is somewhat different in that it contains fewer pieces with greater average length. The types of music featured here are extensively explored on my other albums and collaborations."

Music For Films Volume 2 & Rarities were only available in this box.

All record covers are individually stamped on the back cover with a golden EG label. The records come in their original 1st issue as originally released, for example "Taking Tiger Mountain" in a beautiful thick fold out cover, "Before and after..." mentions on the back the 3 art prints (that were originally included in the 1st issue- but never were included in this box)

All records are unplayed/ mint condition, only the upper cover spines of some records show sleight wear from pulling the set out of the box.

The box shows some wear and the backside of the box has a spine split on the back (approx. 10 cms- see picture).

This is a great collection, a crown jewel in every Eno collection!

1) Brian Eno signature!!!! with black cd marker clearly on ticket for the Mimmo Paladino & Brian Eno installation: "I  Dormienti" at the London Roundhouse, 1999 (ticket is stamped 18. Sept. 1999). Eno signed this to me personally at the soundcheck in Bath Abbey 24th May 2006 (he played two concerts that night).
