PIPES OF PAN - 'BRIAN JONES PLAYS WITH THE PIPES OF PAN AT JOUJOUKA'
This album was a recording of the Moroccan group the Master Musicians of Joujouka, in performance on 29 July 1968 in the village of Jajouka in Morocco and was produced by Brian Jones. Contrary to the title (later amended) Brian Jones didn't actually play with them

'Manufactured in Germany' is machine stamped into each run-out with 'ROLLING STONES RECORDS' hand-etched beside that

Housed within an unlaminated gatefold cover with the original 'Brian Jones Plays With...' title on the front panel and printed by 'Howard's Printers (Slough) Ltd'
Complete with original textured gatefold insert sheet & plain white inner-sleeve

Clean & unblemished with just a small handful of faint spindle trails around unworn centre hole

Factory-fresh, deep-glossy playing surfaces which are unmarked in strong daylight with just a few harmless wispy paper hairlines beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp
Sound Quality: NEAR MINT
Played just a few times on high-end equipment, the sound quality is clean & clear and apart form a trace of low-level vinyl background in some of the quieter passages plays without any noticeable audible distractions or faults
Cover: VERY GOOD +
This early variant is fully intact with some moderate storage/shelfwear, but no significant or major faults. All seams are smooth, unstressed & unsplit and the unworded spine is unworn
