Mad tambourines skills don't always pay all them bills and since my hard nostalgia zone cuts off at '96, I'm pulling out what is probably the biggest gun from '97 which is the only ever band member owned copy of probably the rarest of all BJM vinyl "Not If You Were The Last Dandy On Earth" 12" single. Back in the day this lived in my record collection in both BJM houses. 1997 Limited pressing 300 only. The Committee To Keep Music Evil ?– EVIL 1 The pressing plant messed up the entire run by cropping the front and back cover photos too tight mistakenly editing out the woman's purse on the front and telephone the record exec is screaming into on the back. The spoken word B-side recording is Anton at Greg Shaw's house telling "you" the story of our band's meeting The Dandys (and much more) with me in the room as an audience of one. We were smoking DMT which was my only time. From what I hear DMT feels like I don't think the quality was very good. The vinyl condition is mint. It's been played twice, once on the day we got it from Bomp! and today. Cover is nice and glossy with a few tiny dings and a little shelf wear (see all pics).
