Brian May Personally Signed Ultra Rare Furia EMI France Vinyl LP
The Item Is In Excellent Condition
The 2000 Furia Soundtrack LP was Released on CD in Europe and Japan in November 2000, EMI France additionally released the Album Under the EMI FRANCE subsidiary on Vinyl, this was overlooked by many collectors and one that "Slipped Through the Net". I purchased Two of these in Paris at the Beginning of December 2000. One remains in my collection and this is signed by Brian Personally, Details are encompassed below.
A unique and Very Rare Item
The Vinyl is Mint and Unplayed
The Cover Is Excellent + with a Small Crease in the Corner. Otherwise pristine with no tears, stains etc.
Brian signed with a Silver Sharpie and added his usual With Love and 2001.
Here lies the tale:
I have collected Queen For Many years and have somewhat of a extensive collection, i have been fortunate to meet the Band over the years and have have many Autographs, photographs and memorabilia. Whilst still collecting to fill those gaps in my dwindling wants list i have decided to shed a few things, i have give some items to a local charity that runs a Foodbank and will add a few items along with my regular auctions.
The Vinyl LP here was signed by Brian in Person in Montreux on Monday 4th June 2001, I flew to Geneva on The Sunday and Took the Train to Montreux on the Monday, I have visited Montreux many times since Freddie's Death and apart from the Extortionate prices it truly is a wonderful place, my last visit was to see the Exhibition in the Casino, the former Mountain Studios.
I met Brain prior to the Sun Studios Tribute Concert which i attended. Brian remembered me from previous meetings and was his usual gracious self and took time to chat and happily signed a Back to the Light Vinyl LP which he personally dedicated and the Furia Vinyl LP, i remember it like it was yesterday when he commented "Where did you purchase that its was only available in France" The Virgin Megastore on on the Champs-Élysées i gleefully retorted, A wry grin came across his face and he informed it was the first one he had signed. I wished him well for the show and away i went to tuck the goodies away before having a few beers and attanding the Tribute Show that evening.
Ironically I visited the same Shop i purchased it from the next day as i departed Montreux for Geneva and the TGV train to Paris for my journey home by Rail instead of Queesyjet!!
