Exceptionally nice copy of the rare "Vanishing Trick Poems And Songs" LP by Brian Patten, poet and member of the GRIMMS in the 70s.

Record is NM. It looks pretty much like an unplayed LP but careful examination under a 60-watt bulb showed a few very small and very faint scratches - so faint I almost didn't see them. The cover is almost like new. It is hard to tell from the picture, but the cover is bright yellow and super glossy with only very minor signs of handling. All corners are sharp. No seam splits, tears, writing, ring wear, stains. I think you would be hard pressed to ever find a nicer copy of this one.
Side one features songs with lyrics by Brian. Musicians featured include Linda Thompson, Richard Thompson, Andy Roberts (GRIMMS, Liverpool Scene), Neil Innes (Bonzo Dog Band, Rutles, GRIMMS), Dave Richards, Gerry Conway. Each plays or sings on several tracks. Some songs were co-written by Neil Innes including "Sometimes It Happens" and "Somewhere Between Heaven & Woolworths." Side two features a bunch of Brian's poems recited by him.
The record will be sent well-packed in a cardboard mailer.
