Description
#1 Copy of Collector’s Edition Release by 1970s/80s Soul Group Brief Encounter
You are bidding on the #1 (of 500) signed copy of the new release by vintage R&B group Brief Encounter (1970-1985). This is the first new authorized release from Brief Encounter in nearly 30 years and includes a never-released vintage performance (Shake and Move) and a brand new recording of a tune written back in the early 1980s (I Want You So Much). For collectors this will be sure to increase in value. Only 500 copies of this record will be released and available through various outlets following this initial auction of the #1 copy. To preserve the 45rpm vinyl record itself, the purchaser of this recording will have access to one free digital downloadable version.
Proceeds go to Haiti Earthquake Relief
All proceeds from the sale of this collector’s edition will go toward the Haiti Earthquake Relief fund. The two Brief Encounter songs on this double-sided single have been produced by original group members Gary and Montie Bailey, and are recordings of Brief Encounter at their best. This never before released material features the group’s unique brand of harmony and gutsy instrumentation, which has brought collectors some of the highest end dollar values on the collector’s market in Europe, US and Japan. The buyer can view the actual signing of the #1 copy and listen to a sample from both of the songs on the You Tube sites “Briefencounter1st”

The buyers of this record will purchase with the agreement not to reproduce for resale or redistribute without the written permission of the group Brief Encounter.
