Description
Bright Eyes- Letting off the Happiness. Original Hand- Screen printed version (number 105 of 300), with original photocopied inlay.
Exceptionally rare copy of this classic album, this version also has the altered Zip code figures glued onto the back of it.
Please read the following carefully before bidding.
Sleeve and Inlay- both in very good condition. The record has been kept in a plastic sleeve since purchase (Japan 1999), and has some very minor kinks to the fold/ spine (see pictures). Inlay is in excellent condition. The green smudge on the inside of the sleeve is from the screen printing process.
Record- Unfortunately, the record itself has seen better days, and I will try to describe it as accurately as possible: According to Record Collector Magazines grading guide, I would rate this is as good to fair (does not apply to sleeve, which is in very good condition):
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
I have listened to this LP twice in the past 24hrs on my 1210 deck, and it plays through without jumping (on both plays). There is noise/ crackling on both sides of the disc, and visibly scuffing on both sides also- generally audible only between tracks/ low volume passages.Please consider the above before bidding- I have been as honest as I possibly can with this.
