WOW! This is truly a rarity – if you are a Brigitte Bardot fan, or a collector of rare vinyl, then you’ll certainly want to read on!
I think there have only been two or three of these put up on eBay over the past half dozen years or so, and I've had a hard time finding out anything about this disc through the web. However, this is what I *can* tell you about it: this is EP was released to the American market to coincide with the U.S. premiere of the film. Originally, this EP - with a different cover - was released by Vega (one of the leading French labels) in France. This EP is simply musical moments from the movie - and does NOT contain any dialogue (or singing) from Brigitte Bardot. In fact the vocal scatting is done by none other than Christiane Legrand. While BB was in the film, they simply used her image - her persona - to sell this little e.p. side project.
The vinyl itself? Well, I’d say it’s in pretty good shape. But, instead of grading it - I'm not a record dealer - I've put some sound files together of the actual vinyl so you can listen for yourself! Yes, it *is* a time consuming thing for me to do, but I’ve been burned by “visual inspection” and subjective “Goldmine Standard” descriptions before – so I think that actually listening to the record you’re interested in, would be the most accurate and honest representation of the vinyl – it’s the closest thing to putting a needle on it yourself.
From the needle-drop, you'll have at least 30 seconds of the beginning of the track, and then a quick fade out, followed by a quick fade up on the end of the track for at least another 30 seconds, then a fade out, followed by the last 30 or so seconds of the end of the track, including the tail-out. The same thing will happen for the B side. Other than the fades, there is no “audio trickery” to enhance the sound of the record.

As you can see by the photographs, the cover is in fantastic condition. However there is an address label that has been affixed to the A side of the record. Other than that, this baby's clean!
So there it is! Check it out and ask around, you don’t have to – nor should you - take my word for it. Whether you want to own this piece of Bardot history because you lived it, wished you lived it, or are a collector of all things Bardot, this is for you!
