Brilliant Slade 7” Singles Bundle 11 Records Collectible Including Imports.

01. Gudbuy T’ Jane/I Won’t Let It ‘appen Agen released in 1972 on Polydor Records in picture Sleeve in Germany in a picture sleeve.

Vinyl in Ex Condition no marks or scratches. Sleeve in Good Condition some slight ring wear and the bottom has a tiny split along the bottom which it taped (only about one inch) I purchased a collection of Slade records and the imports all had small splits on the seams but nothing bad.

02. Skweeze Me Pleeze Me/Kill ‘Em At The Hot Club Tonite. Released in 1973 on Polydor Records in picture Sleeve in Germany (I think) it has the same picture sleeve in 2 or 3 European countries.

Vinyl in Ex Condition. Sleeve in Good Condition again a couple of small splits on the seams (European records used really thin paper in the 70’s) slight creasing on the opening nothing bad and it’s nearly 50 years old!

03. Thanks For The Memory (Wham Bam Thank You Mam)/Raining In My Champagne released in 1975 in picture Sleeve in Germany.

Vinyl in Ex Condition no marks or scratches. Sleeve in Good Condition no splits a few creases and a small £6.00 price sticker that was there when I got it about 20 years ago (all stickers come off quite easily with lighter fuel but I’ve run out)

04. Rock And Roll Preacher (Hallelujah I’m On Fire)/Knuckle Sandwich Nancy released in 1981 in picture Sleeve in Germany on RCA Records.

Vinyl in Ex Condition no marks or scratches, Sleeve in Good Condition again small splits on seams and a bit of creasing has a sticker from the Record & Tape Exchange that again will come off with lighter fuel.

05. The Metal Gurus - Merry Xmas Everybody/ Metal Guru great charity single released in picture Sleeve on Mercury Records for the Charity Childline in 1990. Produced by Noddy Holder & Jim Lea (who I think also played on it) Noddy’s in the picture on the front.

Vinyl in Ex Condition looks like has hardly been played. Sleeve in VG Condition no rips or splits just a Woolworths price sticker in the corner!

06. Blessings In Disguise (Featuring Noddy Holder & Dave Hill) - Crying In The Rain/Wild Nights released in picture Sleeve in 1989 on Mooncrest Records. The A Side has Noddy Holder on Vocals and Dave Hill on Guitar (with Bill Hunt who wrote with Dave Hill for Slade II before they became just Slade again on Keyboards) the B Side was written by Dave Hill & Bill Hunt.

Vinyl in Ex Condition looks hardly played. Sleeve in Ex Condition.

07. The Clout - We’ll Bring The House Down/Jim Jam released in picture Sleeve in 1990 in Mooncrest Records. A brilliant solo single by Jim Lea (with help from female vocalist Jackie Rawe) reworking the Slade classic song in a different style Under the pseudonym The Clout, the B Side was an instrumental written only by Jim Lea who played all the instruments, it was Jim Lea’s second venture into releasing records outside Slade following his releases with his brother Frank in the early 1980’s was released without much fanfare apart from the Slade fan club so didn’t chart, great collectors item for a Slade fan.

08. The Dummies - Didn’t You Used To Be You/Miles Out To Sea released on Cheapskate Records in 1980 in plain black sleeve. 2 Noddy Holder & Jim Lea songs (credited on the label as Lea, Holder) The Dummies were a musical side project from Jim Lea and his brother Frank that released a couple of singles in 1979/1980.

Jim Lea did vocals, guitar, bass & keyboards while Frank did the drums (I’m not sure but I think Frank stood in for Don Powell when he had his car accident in 1973 for a couple of shows) they had announced they were going to do a cover of Slade’s ‘Nobody’s Fools’ but Holder & Lea wrote this song instead especially for this release.

Great item for Slade collection!

09. Slade II - Hold On To Love/Red Hot released on Emergency Records in 1993 in Picture Sleeve. After Slade had split up with Jim Lea & Noddy Holder leaving Dave Hill & Don Powell carried on for a while as Slade II (at first Jim Lea wouldn’t let them use the name but later changed his mind) I’m not sure but I think this was the only single they released. Both sides were written by Dave Hill & Bill Hunt. Another nice collectible.

Vinyl in Ex Condition, Sleeve in VG Condition some very light ring wear hardly noticeable.

10. Let The Good Times Roll, Feel So Fine/I Don’ Mind released in the USA on Polydor Records in 1972 in company sleeve. On of the best songs from the brilliant Slayed album that was sadly not released as a single in the U.K

Vinyl in Ex Condition it’s 50 years old and looks hardly played! Sleeve in Good condition few marks but nothing bad.

11. Look Wot You Dun/Candidate released on Polydor Records in Belgium (I think there is a sticker on the front I can’t understand but has the name Liege and a phone number, I’m not sure if it’s some kind of promo sticker or a record shop!) it in a fold round sleeve where the sides are not stuck together (I’ve had other European singles from around this time like this)

Vinyl in VG Condition looks hardly played, sleeve in VG Condition.

Great bundle for any Slade fan!
