Format: this is a 1997 promotional poster issued to support the release of the ‘Be Here Now’ album. This already a rare poster, and what makes this so special is that it is signed by three members of the band line-up that recorded what was the bands third album.
The following signatures are included:
Liam Gallagher – vocals, tambourine (1991–2009, 2024–present); acoustic guitar (2001–2002, 2007–2008). Liam has signed ‘Liam’ in the middle of the poster with a black medium-thickness black felt-style pen and is graded 6/10 for definition and ink coverage. It is clear that whilst with a complete & defined full signature, that the pen used was starting to run out of ink.
Noel Gallagher – lead guitar, vocals (1991–2009, 2024–present); rhythm guitar (1991, 1999–2009, 2024–present); keyboards (1993–2009); bass (1993–1994, 1995, 1999). Noel has signed a large, impactful signature across the white Rolls Royce image in a medium thickness black marker-style pen and is graded 7/10 for definition and ink coverage, with minor ink loss on the ‘L’ of ‘NOEL’.
Paul "Guigsy" McGuigan – bass (1991–1995, 1995–1999): Paul has signed as ‘Guigsy’ in the middle of the poster across the white Rolls Royce image in a black medium thickness black marker-style pen and is graded 9/10 for definition and ink coverage.
This is a stunning set of super-rare signatures that would look amazing, mounted, framed and glazed! These signatures were obtained in London and Manchester.
Poster size: poster is 51cm x 74cm.
Shipping weight: 700gm. Item will be shipped rolled and in a heavyweight cardboard tube.
Condition: at least excellent condition and has remained rolled since 1997. The twenty seven year old poster has minor age patina, minimal creasing, and will just look superb mounted, framed and glazed!
Provenance: this item was sourced via Bonhams, the biggest and best global auction house. The levels of due diligence that Bonhams go through to ensure all items are 100% genuine and authentic means that this is the real deal! Redacted invoice will be included in transaction. This item sold as part of a large consignment of Oasis-related items sold by the auction house on 4th December 2024. Further written provenance provided by the vendor outlining the sources via Noel Gallagher technician and property of ex-VIP for International Marketing for EMI international.
