Seller's Notes:  "Certainly a rarity!  This is a record by Bell County Kentucky preacher and gospel musician Marion Brock.  Brock is a family name that is prevalent in this area of Ky and goes back many generations; Marion Brock's brother and other family members are/were preachers.  Not much can be found online regarding Marion Brock, except that he passed away in 1975 and comments on his numerous online uploads show his music was beloved by family members and congregations for many years. His playing and singing was legendary in southeastern Kentucky and he was considered to have been anointed with God's power to bring people at church to the altar. The style of this music is at times inspired by Sun Studios era rockabilly; Jerry Lee Lewis immediately comes to mind in Bro. Brock's rich vocal delivery.  The recording of this LP is very well done by independent standards.  The record itself has seen better days upon viewing, but on the turntable this recording is as clear as a bell and the amount of pop and cracking sounds is minimal. This recording needs preservation and deserves a broader audience/awareness."


DESCRIPTION: Pre owned vintage vinyl record with inner sleeve and record cover in acceptable condition.  Cover has partial shrink wrap; shrink wrap is not mint.  Under shrink, cover may have some scuffs or blemishes due to age and probable storage methods. Cover mouth has wear. Sleeve for record is likely not original and has creasing.  Label and playhole area have wear and spindle marks; side 1 has a check mark written in ink on label and side 2 has scuffs on label. LP has scratches and marks, but plays without any skips (played through on both sides on seller's home stereo) and with only a mild level of audible pops and cracks.  See photos and read Seller's Notes for further details and to evaluate condition.
