Limited edition vinyl. RACONTEURS = SABOTEURS. Jack White and Brendan Benson's new band changes its name for Australia. The Raconteurs, the new band fronted by Jack White from The White Stripes and singer/ songwriter Brendan Benson, will now be known as The Saboteurs in Australia, to avoid any confusion with an Australian band already operating under the name.
JACK WHITE - THE WHITE STRIPES - on guitar, vocal and keys. BRENDAN BENSON - taking a spell from his own fantastic solo career - on guitars, vocals, keys. JACK LAWRENCE AND PATRICK KEELER - on bass and drums - from THE GREENHORNES. The seed was sewn in an attic in the middle of a hot summer when JACK WHITE AND BRENDAN BENSON got together and wrote " Steady As She Goes " which inspired them to create THE RACONTEURS.

Broken Boy Soldiers is the debut album of The Raconteurs, released on May 15, 2006 in the United Kingdom and May 16, 2006 in the United States. The album was generally favored among critics and spawned the #1 hit single "Steady, As She Goes". The album earned a nomination for Best Rock Album at the 49th Grammy Awards.
