Description
HI there everyone , you are looking at a stellar copy of this children's album that Bruce Haack made in 1969 with the help of Esther Nelson. Both vinyl and cover are superb, near mint & shiny; plays beautifully. On the Dimension 5 label, # D141, it features 13 tracks of music "synthesized" by Bruce, with the exception of 1 song called Echo, which says " performed by Praxiteles Pandel." I don't know for certain whether the synths used are Moog or otherwise, though this year was a dawning exploding time for Moog synths. Apparently, this is one of many electronic albums created for children with a psychedelic edge. On the back cover, it says " this record is programmed to help a child intensify his own awareness." tracks are : sing, Mara's Moon, Dance, Listen, Poppies, Saint Basil, Upside Down, First Lady, Echo, African Lullaby, Spiders, Clapping with Katy, Goodbye. Some tracks written by Bruce, some by Esther Nelson, some share credit with C. Kachulis. Saint Basil is arranged by Bruce, directed by P. Pandel and performed by the children of Holy Trinity Cathedral School.
Really quite a witty, funny and groovy album !! Do check my other auctions for anything else Electronic.
