Description
This is an original jacket cover for Bruce Hornsby and The Range's The Way, This album is considered rare and highly collectible. Released in April 1986, it features an impressionistic photograph of Bruce Hornsby playing an accordion, aimed initially at the New Age music market. This original cover was quickly replaced within months after the album's success, particularly following the hit single "The Way It Is," which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The reissued version used a sepia-toned photo of the band in front of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.
Due to its short initial release window and the album's growing popularity, original pressings with the accordion cover are now scarce. Collectors actively seek these early vinyl copies, and they command higher prices in the used market. Cant tell the shape the vinyl is in because it's still sealed. I can only assume Mint condition as it has never been played...
