Description

An original 1st press from 1986. Record pressed in Ireland for the UK market. Stamped 'Masterdisk'. The FIVE Lps come housed in a very solid box with flipback lid. There are 5 bespoke inner sleeves and a booklet included too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks on disk 1 [nothing remotely troublesome] and then pretty much nothing else observable across the other four disks. They're in really top class condition. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback ...That's across all TEN SIDES! To my ears this a collection of very high quality live recordings - mastering is excellent courtesy of Bob Ludwig [no less!]. The audio is lush and detailed without the sort fluctuating sound levels or poor detail you can often find. They definitely did a great job with this recording. A very nice clean presentation with very little back ground exhibiting. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and clarity is top level for a live recording. Maybe just a few minor crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [nothing that noticeable though]. Expect to be bowled over by some very impressive lush audio. The hits just keep coming...over 10 sides! That's VFM for ya!
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and someone's really taken care of it. The imaging is still in excellent order. Nice blacks and no signs of fading or wear. Edge wear is very limited indeed - just slight evidence right at the corners. Structural integrity = excellent. The opening hinge is perfectly intact. The interior of the box looks pretty much untouched apart from tiny sticker removal mark [barely worth mentioning].
Inners (Ex/Ex-) Mostly excellent. One or two have a couple of ageing marks [no big deal].
Booklet (Ex) Excellent order. Barely been touched.
