PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!

Up for sale is one(1) - Bruce Springsteen - Darkness On The Edge Of Town LP from 1978 on Columbia Records (#JC 35318). 

PLEASE NOTE: 

THIS LP IS STILL FACTORY SEALED IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER! 

HOWEVER, THERE IS A SLIT IN THE SIDE OPENING APPROXIMATELY 8" LONG THAT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH TO PULL THE RECORD OUT. (please see pics). 

AND THE INNER SLEEVE HAS A SPLIT SEAM THAT IS VISABLE THROUGH THE SLIT AND IS APPROXIMATELY 2.5" LONG. (please see pics). 

I AM GRADING THE COVER AS NEAR MINT BECAUSE THERE IS A LIGHT INDENTATION OF THE WORD "SEALED" PRESSED INTO THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER OF THE COVER AS IF SOMEONE PUT A PIECE OF PAPER ON THE COVER AND THEN WROTE THE WORD"SEALED" WITH A PEN LEAVING THE INDENTATION ON THE COVER. (please see pics). 

AND BECAUSE THERE ARE CORNER DINGS / SOFT CORNERS.(please see pics) 

THE ORIGINAL "CHART BUSTERS" STICKER IS STILL AFFIXED TO THE COVER. IT MAY COME OFF WITH SOME ELBOW GREASE, BUT I'M LEAVING IT AS-IS. 

THERE ARE NO CUT CORNERS, CUT OUT CLIPS OR PUNCH HOLES.

THIS IS NOT A RECORD CLUB COPY or A RECENT 180 GRAM REISSUE. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1981. 

This was a gift back in the late 1970s. I never opened it and it has been in storage for many, many years.

Some of the corners have poked through the seal on the shrink. (please see pics)
The Hype Sticker is in NEAR MINT condition with wear typical from age. 

The cover is in NEAR MINT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, small dings and ring wear all of which are typical. AND FOR THE ISSUES NOTED ABOVE.

The vinyl is assumed to be mint as this is still sealed.
