  For sale is Bruce Springsteen Devils & Dust, originally released in 2005 by Columbia Records as a double album with premium inner sleeves. I bought this used, professionally cleaned them on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put them into two MFSL archival inner sleeves. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any original inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the record. When I cleaned all four sides, I noticed how tight the record fit on the spindle of my VPI machine. This usually indicates that  the record has never been played. After playing it, I'm sure I'm the first to hear this beautiful album. The inner sleeves are Near Mint. The cover is graded as Excellent because of corner blunts and a crease on lower back corner. The spine has just a little color loss at one corner. The vinyl is visually graded as Near Mint. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. The custom labels are all Near Mint. It's been played on state-of-the-art audiophile equipment during the grading process and my experience tells me this is as close to Mint, without being sealed, that exists. This is the best copy of this rare album that I've seen or heard. Most listings that are on Ebay have never been play graded. It's worth knowing what you will hear before you buy something.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
