Description

You are bidding on a rare Japanese Bruce Springsteen 7" vinyl single of "Hungry Heart" b/w "Held Up Without A Gun" (CBS/SONY 07SP 511) from 1980. This is the original first issue that came with a unique, full-color picture insert featuring a gorgeous "portrait shot" of Bruce taken by photographer David Gahr. However, apparently due to a veto from Mr. Springsteen himself, the original artwork was discontinued/withdrawn, and replaced with the more common black-and-white picture of him standing on the Asbury Park boardwalk for the second issue. Insert, die-cut CBS/Sony logo sleeve and vinyl (graded optically) are all in VG overall conditions (the insert has some ring wear and creasing).
