Description
Own a piece of history. Up for auction is a rare, professionally produced, reel to reel recording of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska album. Back in the day, years before anyone had even drempt of things like a CDs and ipods, music lovers were able to purchase some albums on either LP, cassette or reel to reel. The first two caught on, reels, not so much.
We don't know how this would sound if playedback . . . we've heard that some reel tapes last decades, but it is the fact that this is a reel recording of a Springsteen classic that makes this item so special. A "must own" for die hard Springsteen collectors. It is being offered "as is" with no guarantee that it is playable.
This is 1/4 track stereo which is the format most compatible with home reel machines and the speed is 3-3/4 IPS, probably the most common speed of home decks.
