Description

An original 1st press of THE RIVER on the UK CBS label. Matrix A1/B1/C1/D1 - 1st cut. Note the labels should mention 'Made In England'. The vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood cover. Also included are both original inner sleeves and the lyric sheet. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and have only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of lightest marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. A beautiful rendition and you'll struggle to match it. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and clean and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Difficult to fault - it's just a clean and assured performance. Even 'Independence Day' plays clean. All I can make out are a few isolated crackles in one moment per side. Very impressive. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) Has been well cared for and look in rather smart condition. Shiny flat and clean front and rear - would be difficult to improve upon. Very little edge wear at all and the openings are still sharp.
Inners (Ex+) Hard to find fault. No splits. Well preserved.
Lyric Sheet (Ex-) One blemish otherwise aok.
