Bruce Springsteen Ultra rare Norway-only Box-set 1982

Up for sale is a a unique Bruce Springsteen Box set containing his first four albums, collected in a beautifully designed box-set.

(production number: (CBS-BNB NR-8068).

This box-set was available only through the Norwegian book club called “Bokklubben Nye Bøker” ,for a short period of time in 1982. I’m located in Norway myself and as a Springsteen collector for 15 years, I have come across this item only once – the time I bought it : )

Hosted in a stylish blue-tinted box are Dutch pressings of Bruce’s first four albums (all in MINT condition).

According to the Springsteen collector’s site, Lost in the Flood, this item exist in no more than a few hundred copies and is in their words: “extremely difficult to find”.

About the condition of the item: All the records and sleeves are, as I said in mint condition, and appear never to have been played nor touched at all. The Box itself is also in beautiful condition, apart from slight wear on the corners, and at the bottm left corner of the box, there’s a 2,2 inch tear along the side.

Here's why: I have had some problems listing the shipping price for this item properly ( there's seems to be difficulties entering the actual shipping quote for items located outside the US)                                Anyhow: Shipping to Europe will be 14 USD, for America and the rest of the world: 23 USD.

Scans: The box is too large to fit in my scanner, so I scanned it in several portions. I also included another scan of the box I found at the Lost in the flood Collectors site, to show you the whole of the box.

A brief addendum to the listing:

One additional thing struck me when it comes to this it item - most stuff released through Book Clubs tend to be thrown out at some point. That's certainly the case here in Norway with the LP-collections from the 70's and 80's. So if estimate that there originally where 200 of these Springsteen boxes available, at least half of the boxes are probably gone a long time ago. The chances of finding an item like this again is therefor virtually nonexistant.
