Description
I have been a music fan and vinyl enthusiast since the early 1970s and I am selling a large range of records featuring a very wide variety of musical styles. They are all authentic original pressings, featuring quality music mostly from the 1970s and 1980s.
They have all been very well cared for, though I will give an honest appraisal of their condition and will put up plenty of photos of the actual items for sale so you can see exactly what you are bidding on. I always endeavour to highlight anything which I think that I would like to be made aware of before deciding to place a bid, so I do tend to grade critically.
All these records are deep cleaned using a professionally constructed wet vacuum system using only the highest purity record cleaning fluid so the vinyl is all very clean, glossy and dust free. Everything listed is, at the very least, very thoroughly test played, (minimum of at least 4-5 tracks across both sides) though almost always played right through on a quality deck and I apply high standards to my vinyl and would never list a record that I would not be perfectly happy to have in my own cherished record collection. In the case of rare or particularly interesting vinyls, I may list records which may fall short in some way of my usual standards, but this would always be very clearly highlighted in the descriptions.
I visually inspect every record under very bright light using an inspection lamp.
A note regarding the most important matter of all - the audio - as with all vinyl, even straight out of the cellophane, there can be light crackle or very light 'pops' during the quiet passages. I have listened carefully, at the very least in part, to all these records, so I will highlight in the descriptions any aspects of the audio playback which I consider to be outside the parameters of the very high standards I apply to my own listening. Please be assured that I would never sell 'fried breakfasts', only high quality records.
All records will be supplied to you in a good quality clear outer wallet to protect your sleeves.

Bruce Springsteen ' 'You Can Trust Your Car To The Man Who Wears The Star' - 'unofficial' vinyl double album on 'The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label' featuring Bruce Springsteen live at the Main Point, Bryan Mawr, Pennsylvania on February 5th 1975. Interestingly, the front sleeve notes that this was The Boss 'Live on his tumultuous 1976 tour of the Amercias (sic)'. The run outs are simply etched MC 4908 A/B/C/D and 'Side 1/2/3/4'.
The vinyl retains all of its original glossy sheen with only the very lightest of superficial hairlines, if any, visible in bright light. Please note that there is a slightly streaky 'milkiness' to this vinyl when viewed under the inspection light, but this is just the appearance of the vinyl when it was pressed and the records are in pretty immaculate condition with almost zero sign of any handling. If this album has ever been played prior to today then there was certainly no evidence of it. Please also note that this is an 'unofficial' release so needless to say the recording quality is not that of studio work. The vinyls have been on the cleaner regardless, more than anything just to remove the small amount of dust which had accumulated over the years.
The heavy card sleeve features a rather garish green/yellow colour scheme with a quite bizarre portrait of the artist and is in very good condition. There is shelf wear around the perimeter edges and the spine is a little roughed up in a few places (see photo #12), but this doesn't detract from this still being a very nice presentable sleeve. Worth noting is that this sleeve is of an unusual construction in that the front only attaches to the reverse from the opening to about 3" from the spine. This did at first look like extremely heavy wear, but although a little wear is in evidence around that area, the void is just a quirk of the sleeve's construction.
The labels are plain bright yellow and simply stamped side 1/2/3/4 and they are all in excellent condition with no spindle marks.
This record in a nutshell : a very well preserved copy of this hard to find 'unofficial' Bruce Springsteen album featuring a superb 1975 concert with freshly deep cleaned vinyl in lovely condition and an record which would make a very interesting addition to fans of The Boss's vinyl record playing collection.
