Bruce Vanderpool - Bittersweet, Raydar Records, Vinyl VG+, RPI 115 Bruce Vanderpool - Bittersweet, Raydar Records, Vinyl VG+, RPI 115
This extremely rare moody psychedelic acid folk rock record is a true masterpiece. The record was pressed on a small record label based in Waverly, New York in 1969 and has not seen any form of re-release since. Vanderpool has a beautiful voice, and absolutely superb guitar technique. The instrumentation on this record is minimal in the best way. Using not much more than a small drum set, an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar and his calm, soothing voice he creates the most beautiful atmosphere. This rare, unique record is a perfect addition to any folk rock collection.
