Allow me to emote for just a bit: Reckless is a damn fine album and this is a truly stunning copy of it. Both the LP and the cover are in true near-mint (NM / EX) condition, the increasingly rare printed insert is closer to mint (M) than near-mint, and the vinyl becomes beautifully translucent when held up to a bright light.
With Cuts Like A Knife, Bryan Adams had his breakout release. But it was Reckless that transformed him from Canadian rocker to worldwide rock star. Six of the album's 10 songs were released as singles with all six breaking into the top 15 of the Billboard Hot 100. The album itself reached no. 1 in Canada and the US and broke into the top 10 of numerous other countries. As of 2019, Reckless has sold more than 12 million copies worldwide.
Bryan Adams' Reckless isn't just Canadian rock at its finest, it's rock music at its finest. And this particular copy is Reckless at its finest. It was purchased at Tower Records in West Covina, California, in December 1984, and has had one owner across all of its 37 years.
