Description
Here is another holy-grail for break-in collectors. Buchanan & Goodman on Luniverse with Back To Earth parts 1 & 2 which is the exact same songs as The Flying Saucer. This has to be a second pressing of the record because of the new style label with the moon on it. Why the name change, who knows. Maybe to get people to buy it again. This is a California monarch pressing and the number 10681 is from 1957 which also makes it a second pressing. The part 1 side is 10683 which is later than the part 2 of 10681. Another weird thing about this record. I don't have a monarch press of the original to check out the monarch numbers. I never did get the original pressing on the Universe label. Oh well.
Vinyl is a really nice and clean VG+.
I record the songs using an Audio Technica VM 540 ML needle through a McIntosh C24 preamp. You can hear the song from beginning to needle lift with NO editing of the MP3. Listen to a sound clip of side 1 & 2.
