Hi folks,
Up for grabs is this 1956 Buck Griffin 45rpm rockabilly DJ-only single Stutterin' Papa / Watchin' The 7:10 Roll By in good condition (this is an ORIGINAL 1956 MGM pressing, not a later reissue). The late Buck Griffin was one of the greatest American country singers from the early 1950's onwards, often spoken of with the same kind of reverence reserved for Hank Williams even though Griffin never had any major hits although not for want of trying. This awesome double-sided classic was one of a handful of country-influenced rockabilly tracks recorded by Griffin throughout 1956-57 and I can tell you that they really do rock! They just have to be heard to be appreciated for the classics that they are. This record is in good condition although there are numerous scuff marks on the vinyl on both sides (nothing too serious) and the labels also present as somewhat dirty with a small degree of fading on both sides, please refer to the photos for a closer view. The record however plays just fine with no skipping or jumping. Regardless of this particular record's faults, Griffin's rockabilly singles very rarely come up for sale on the market so don't let this one pass you by.

The record has been bubble-wrapped and securely enclosed within a sturdy expandable mailer to ensure no damage in transit. Delivery cost to anywhere in Australia is $6.95 by Australia Post Small Parcels Delivery. A $1 materials surcharge is applicable to cover the cost of packing materials, please don't bid if you are not agreeable to this. Any two records from any of my record sales can be delivered for the cost of the price of one as two records will be just under the 500g weight limit for Small Parcels delivery.
