Description
Here is a HIGHLY DESIRABLE, HARD-TO-FIND, and LEGENDARY OUT-OF-PRINT LP (until recently in 2025), hands down! It’s the first and only LP by Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks who later went on to join Fleetwood Mac.
It has truly become a LANDMARK LP now more than 50 years old that launched the careers of two exceptional recording artists. In fact, this LP is so iconic that it was pictured in the CNN documentary series, “The Seventies”, on TV!

The LP in this auction is the ORIGINAL 1973 FIRST PRESSING LP WITH THE GATE-FOLD COVER. (The later Polydor 1975 re-issue and the 1981 Keel Pressing re-issue did NOT have the gate-fold cover with the printed lyrics.)

The labels, with the Polydor address on the bottom, do NOT have the zip code.

"STERLING" can be found in the trail-off vinyl/dead wax on this LP. It indicates that mastering and lacquer cutting were performed by one of the highly regarded engineers of Sterling Sound, one of the most respected and famous mastering houses in the music industry. For audiophiles, the "STERLING" mark is viewed as a sign of high-quality mastering and a superior audio product.

This ORIGINAL 1973 1st PRESSING has become really tough to come by these days in such NICE CONDITION as the one in this auction.

This is an EXCELLENT LP in terms of content and contains 10 great cuts including “Don’t Let Me Down Again”, “Long Distance Winner”, “Crying in the Night”, “Without a Leg to Stand On”, “Races Are Run”, “Crystal” (a Stevie Nicks’ song long sought after by fans), and “Frozen Love”.

Simply put, the LP contains GREAT MATERIAL from the team-up of Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

This LP title was out-of-print for decades until recently in 2025 when it was re-released on various colored vinyl; BUT, wouldn’t you REALLY prefer to have an Original First Pressing instead?

The GATE-FOLD COVER is in VERY STRONG VG+ CONDITION with VERY MINIMAL OVERALL OVERALL and some light aging/foxing on the spine inside the gate-fold cover. (Just check out the images of the cover!)

As you have probably seen in your searching to find this LP that the dark front slick/image was prone to easily show wear over a short time of rubbing against other LP covers. But, as you can see, this one has no wear at all. Check out the images and you will see just how NICE and CLEAN this cover is!!!

The VINYL is in NEAR MINT (NM) CONDITION!!
It is nothing less than a LEGENDARY LP that deserves a place in your vinyl collection. And I repeat, wouldn’t you REALLY prefer to have an ORIGINAL 1st PRESSING in GREAT CONDITION like this one instead of the new reissue on colored vinyl? So why pass this one by?
