Description
Original deep-groove "ear" pressing of Bud Powell "The Amazing, Volume 3" on the West 63rd Street labels - with no registration symbol - of Blue Note BLP 1571. The playing surface appears to be in near-new condition - bright and clean - with a luster typical of older Blue Notes that have been stored in their original inner sleeves. The laminated cover has the West 63rd Street address. The front photo is in fabulous condition - nearly perfect; the back slick is typically age-darkened, with a 1" square discoloration on the bottom left corner, as if from a removed sticker or tag; the spine has ½" wear that wraps around to the back, up to the right edge of the slick. Personnel includes Curtis Fuller, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.
